Scents Of Soy began in January 2011 as Creations By Charlene. Charlene Lee our Founder and CEO had a mission of beginning her retirement early, and starting her own business. Little did she know she was about to put in twice as many hours, for less pay. Creations By Charlene transitioned into Scents Of Soy in September of 2011 with the addition of her daughter Terra Bell, and son-in-law Ben. Terra and Ben with their first baby boy on the way took a leap of faith from their corporate desk jobs, to join Charlene in creating the best candle company in Texas. Since the beginning we have focused on achieving just that. We will continue to honor our guiding principles of hand-crafting great smelling, high quality, healthy alternatives to paraffin wax.

We value your feedback, and would greatly appreciate your view on our products. Customer feedback has helped sculpt our business into what it is today, so please feel free to drop us a message. We also enjoy being involved on our community, you can usually find us on most weekends at local craft shows and farmers markets, doing our best to share our wonderful products for all to enjoy. Working hard to make a difference in the areas we serve is what sparked the idea of supporting local schools, daycares, and churches, through our 50% giving back fundraising program. Common Paraffin waxes are manufactured with petroleum, which releases into the air you breath in the form of black smoke. Soy Candles are All Natural and therefore do not release these TOXINS! Our advanced soy wax also holds more scent than other waxes; so we add twice as much fragrance oil to each candle and tart we pour to achieve maximum scent throw.
